Not your usual bridge building material. Here's an interesting blog post that was forwarded to me about a Cardboard Bridge.
Your One-Line Biography
I like the article just found this part interesting.
"Paper too can be permanent, can be strong and lasting. We need to get rid of these prejudices,” Ban said."
then
"The cardboard masterpiece will be open for 6 weeks to the public before being dismantled prior to the rainy season."

I know about one bridge that When the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban was asked to build a footbridge over the Gardon River in the south of France, he designed one that was keenly sensitive to its surroundings. He constructed it from locally available materials and based its geometry on the nearby Pont du Gard, a historic Roman aqueduct. But instead of stones or concrete, Ban used a mixture of cardboard tubes, recycled labels and creative engineering.

You can use popsicle sticks if you find toothpicks too fiddly. If you don't have a glue gun, white glue works--it just takes much longer to dry and requires a lot more patience.

I have to build a bridge from only cardboard and glue for fun in ap physics (we're done with our exam so we have a 'fun' project to do). Any ideas or tips on how to make a good one? There is a weight requirement and a height requirement, and it has to be flat enough that a toy car can roll on it. TY!!!
